Marlene Struss - Painter

During my young "working" years I experimented with a variety of inexpensive media and produced small and medium sized realistic oil and chalk pastel paintings and  surrealistic collages and montages with political or social themes -- most of which remain as relevant today as they were thirty-five years ago, unfortunately.  At this time I began exhibiting work in community arts venues and art associations in Santa Barbara and made my first sales.
